S110R wings are Prone to Serious rot at the bottoms basically down to the nature of the design of the upper weather proofing. As these are effectively bolt on panels they arent officially covered in the MOT providing that there are no rough edges or protruding parts and indeed the structual areas behind the wing is ok! If the wing is rotton expect the inner sill to be rotton too.
Below are the pictures that were taken when i replaced the bottom part of a S110R sill due to rust.
The 1st stage was to get hold of a pair of S100/S110L sills these are the 4 door salloon models meaning that the sill will be the same as that on the front part of the S110R and the bottom part of the rear wing.
Below shows the typical rot removed from the wing and the same section cut from a new sill.

The wing is cut off at a suitable point to be able to weld a seam that wont show up but will maintain strength.

in this instance the wing/Arch corner was ok so the sill section was joggled to fit behind the arch tip.

awaiting to be welded.

Tacked in place

Welded and ground down using light movements with 5" angle grinder

close up of wing/sill end by "B" post.

And sill to arch tip!

A layer of Filler over the top then 120 Grit then wet flatted

Then Etch Primed ready for High build primer.
